The program includes:
- Keynote speech: Recognizing the critical role of businesses in driving the green transition, the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) will introduce their holistic benchmarking system for companies to measure private sectors’ engagement towards a green economy that is inclusive benefiting both workers and enterprises (Moving from pledges to implementation: a guide for corporate just transition action)
- Exchange Sessions: Let’s discuss with WBA and donors (e.g. Global Affairs Canada) as well as implementers of inclusive skills development initiatives (WEE-North Ghana implemented by Alinea Ltd) and dual VET projects (e.g. WE4D implemented by GIZ), on key parameters for successful transformation and processes that support institutional change.
- Let’s discuss how projects integrate inclusivity and decent work principles into their design, implementation, and monitoring processes. Practical tools, frameworks, and examples will be shared to help projects assess their impact on marginalized groups.
