Dear colleagues of the DC dVET,
Many young people in our partner countries work informally and need practical training to improve their livelihoods. After the successful launch of our BarCamp series “Informality and Dual VET”, where workers’ associations shared their experiences, we are excited to continue this journey.
Join us for our second BarCamp on Non-formal TVET for Inclusive Growth. Register here via this link!
We’ll discuss:
- Benefits and challenges of dual-approaches in non-formal TVET
- Sustainable implementation in partner countries
- Flexible learning pathways for vulnerable groups
Share your ideas and experiences as we work together to create inclusive education and training systems.
What is in for you:
- Keynote speech: Hear from Welthungerhilfe on key parameters of dual approaches in non-formal TVET. Learn how practical solutions and approaches have been developed in close collaboration with their partners and successfully implemented through their Welthungerhilfe- Skill up Training Program
- Exchange Sessions: Dive deeper with implementing organizations such as Helvetas, Swisscontact, SEWA Academy, and Welthungerhilfe. Discussions will center around:
- Blending Pathways: Dual Approaches in Non-Formal TVET
- Beyond Technical Training: Life Skills, Mentoring & Social Cohesion
- Bridging Systems: Recognition of Prior Learning & Linking Non-Formal and Formal TVET
- If you want to host your own session, please indicate this in the registration form.
Important: To fully participate in the breakout sessions, please sign in using a laptop. Access via phone will not be possible.
Best regards on behalf of the DC dVET
