The ASEAN standard (https://asean.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/2019.04.01-ASEAN-In-CT-Standard-booklet-2019-English.pdf), inspired by the German AEVO model, has been integrated into national frameworks in several ASEAN member states. As part of a broader consultation and adaptation process of the standard, we aim to gather insights from practitioners and stakeholders to ensure the standard remains relevant considering also green and digital transformation. This initiative is spearheaded by the GIZ ASEAN regional project RECOTwin ” Regional Cooperation on Labour Market Policy and TVET for a Twin Transition in ASEAN”.
Your experience matters!
For an initial exchange we would like to invite project representatives to share experiences implementing In-Company trainings and working with the ASEAN Standard, discuss recommendations for amendment or needs for further development of it.
Following this initial exchange with dual VET projects, we plan to broaden the dialogue in the coming months. This next phase will actively involve key stakeholders and counterparts in ASEAN member states—such as ministries, TVET institutions, chambers of commerce, and companies engaged in in-company training—to deepen collaboration and gather diverse perspectives on the ASEAN In-Company Trainer Standard.
