TVET institutions are requested to transform themselves into sustainable learning venues. This course is about reference systems which can be useful to implement green issues in TVET institutions systematically. The participants will become familiar with the ISO standards on environmental and energy management, the most popular standards in these fields worldwide. They get an insight into worldwide business initiative Corporate Social Responsibility as well as the global Eco Schools programme.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On completion of the training, participants
• are able to name the requirements of the ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
• are able to explain the Corporate Social Responsibility concept and selected internationally recognized reference documents
• are able to describe the Eco Schools programme
• are able to derive elements of the presented reference systems for the transformation process of TVET institutions
