DESCRIPTION:Invitation à candidater : Formation en ligne – Inclusion du secteur privé dans la formation professionnelle duale en Afrique de l’Ouest  \nChères et chers collègues\,  \nVous êtes impliqué·e dans la formation professionnelle\, le développement des compétences ou la collaboration avec le secteur privé en Afrique de l’Ouest ?\nNous vous invitons à candidater à une formation en ligne animée par notre expert régional\, M. Bahoudé Touré visant à renforcer l’inclusion durable du secteur privé dans les dispositifs de formation professionnelle duale.  \nObjectif de la formation  \nRenforcer les capacités des acteurs publics et privés pour concevoir\, mettre en œuvre et consolider des partenariats efficaces avec le secteur privé dans la formation professionnelle duale\, à partir d’outils concrets et d’expériences régionales.  \nFormat\, dates et contenu  \nLa formation se déroulera en trois sessions en francais en ligne obligatoires de 90 minutes\, aux dates suivantes:  \n\n21 avril 2026 \n\n\n19 mai 2026 \n\n\n16 juin 2026 \n\nLes sessions aborderont notamment :  \n\nla compréhension de la formation duale et des rôles des acteurs ; \n\n\nla sélection et la mobilisation des entreprises (formel et informel) ; \n\n\nla construction de partenariats durables et l’assurance qualité. \n\nLes échanges s’appuieront sur des outils pratiques\, des études de cas ouest-africaines et des travaux interactifs.  \nLivrables pour les participant·e·s  \n\nOutils opérationnels (cartographie des acteurs\, matrices de sélection\, modèles de partenariat\, outils de suivi) \n\n\nSupports pédagogiques et exercices pratiques \n\n\nRéférences méthodologiques directement applicables dans votre contexte professionnel \n\nEn cas de participation réussie\, un certificat DC dVET sera délivré à chaque participant.  \nModalités de candidature  \n⚠️ Le nombre de places est limité afin de garantir la qualité des échanges et l’interactivité de la formation.   \nLes personnes intéressées sont invitées à soumettre leur candidature via un formulaire d’inscription en ligne\, comprenant :  \n\ndes informations professionnelles de base ; \n\n\nune courte note de motivation précisant l’intérêt pour la formation et l’utilisation envisagée des outils présentés. \n\n👉 Les modalités détaillées et le formulaire d’inscription sont disponibles via le lien d’enregistrement dédié.  \nAvec nos salutations les plus cordiales\,  \nL’équipe DC dVET & IFEF

DESCRIPTION:The Skills for Productivity\, Environment and Economic Diversification (SPEED) methodology is the ILO’s updated sectoral approach to anticipating and addressing skills needs in the context of the green transition. Building on more than a decade of experience with the Skills for Trade and Economic Diversification (STED) methodology\, SPEED provides a systematic\, sector focused framework to identify current and future skills needs\, diagnose system‑wide constraints\, and support sectoral development that is productive\, environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive. \n  \nThis webinar will present the core elements of the SPEED approach\, explain how it integrates environmental sustainability with sectoral development\, and highlight its practical application through country experience from Ghana and Namibia. Participants will gain insights into how SPEED can support skills diagnostics\, policy alignment\, stakeholder engagement and actionable recommendations and implementation.

SUMMARY:Crisis as a catalyst for innovation? Dual vocational education and training after Covid-19
DESCRIPTION:The conference will feature presentations on new research into the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on vocational education and training by researchers from the Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training SFUVET and the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. \nThe findings are based on the project ‘Short- and long-term impacts of Covid-19 on vocational education and training’\, which was carried out as part of the Swiss National Science Foundation’s national research programme 80\, ‘Covid-19 in Society’. \nIn a series of short presentations\, speakers will explore how – and whether – processes and practices in company-based training changed during the pandemic. Topics include the health and well-being of apprentices\, training practices within companies\, and transitions within and beyond dual vocational education and training. Particular attention will be paid to the innovations and experiences that have remained relevant beyond the pandemic. \nThe panel discussion brings together former apprentices\, VET trainers and VET experts to discuss their experiences and examine the extent to which the crisis acted as a catalyst for innovation. Together\, they will explore long-term challenges\, opportunities and potential lessons for the future development of vocational education and training.
