This hybrid conference is organised jointly by the European Training Foundation (ETF), the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP) and the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) to promote policy dialogue and partnerships between governments and civil society organisations active in the skills development sector across the ETF Partner Countries and the EU Member States. The event takes place under the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and in the context of the European Year of Skills.

We would like to discuss with you the state of affairs of an inclusive policy dialogue in lifelong learning, involving civil society organisations in all steps of lifelong learning policies, from design to implementation and review. The conference programme is built around concrete experiences, such as the National Skills Strategies and the Youth Guarantee, which aim skills development systems. As lifelong learning policies should be shaped by all stakeholders, we will invite to the debate the representatives from national and European level institutions together with civil society including youth organisations.
