MoU between Swiss, Austrian and German Cooperation in Serbia
Ursula Läubli, Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Serbia, Dr. Erika Teoman-Brenner, the Economic Delegate of the Austrian Embassy in Serbia and Ann-Kathrin Hentschel, Team Leader in the German Development Cooperation project “Reform of Vocational Education in Serbia” signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 26 April 2017 in Belgrade.
The Memorandum is intended to provide a coordinated approach from Switzerland, Germany and Austria to the support of Serbian institutions in the introduction of elements of dual vocational education and training. The objective of the MoU between the Swiss Cooperation Office, Advantage Austria and the project “Reform of Vocational Education and Training in Serbia” is to provide a regular exchange of experiences and information between the organizations on their approaches, results and further plans. Together, the development of a law on dual vocational training will be supported.
The cooperation between the three organizations is an example for co-operation between donor organisations and fits well into the context of the “donor committee for dual vocational training” (DC dVET).
