SDC and SECO present new strategy papers
On 31 May, Ambassador Manuel Sager (Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC) as well as Ambassador Raymund Furrer (Head of Economic Cooperation at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, SECO), presented the new SDC education strategy and a SECO position paper on skills.
Representatives from SDC, SECO, the Swiss civil society as well as basic education and VET experts took part in the event in Berne. The strategy papers both stress Swiss expertise in dual VET and they were well received. However, there is also a need for additional guidance for project planning and implementation, in particular at the interface between VET and PSD.
