Introduction to the course
A large proportion of workers acquire knowledge and skills through non-formal means and therefore do not have the corresponding qualifications. This MOOC enables participants to understand how the RPL process can help these individuals acquire a qualification that matches their knowledge and skills, identify challenges and good practices in implementing RPL, and grasp the fundamentals of building an effective system.

Policymakers and technical advisers from ministries working in the field of skills development; representatives of local authorities and other state actors; staff of qulalification agencies or similar institutions; managers of public employment services; human resource managers, employers’ organization staff and trade union representatives involved in work-based learning; experts and technical staff of civil society organisations, NGOs, and other NPOs working in the field of skills development.
