Millions of young people are unemployed worldwide; In addition, youth are disproportionally affected by poor working conditions. On top of this, the world of work is changing and requires new and innovative solutions that offer employment and income for future generations. The Swiss development cooperation has gained experiences which contribute to the SDGs and offer valuable insights on how to effectively promote youth employment. It is characterized by a holistic intervention in different labour market dimensions and a systemic approach.
